DISHONEST INDUSTRIALISTS, scandalous politicians and corrupt IAS, IRS, IPS officers have deposited in foreign banks in their illegal personal accounts a sum of about $ 1500 billion, which have been misappropriated by them. This amount is about 13 times larger than the country’s foreign debt. With this amount 45 crore poor people can get Rs 1,00,000 each. This huge amount has been appropriated from the people of India by exploiting and betraying them.

Once this huge amount of black money and property comes back to India, the entire foreign debt can be repaid in 24 hours. After paying the entire foreign debt, we will have surplus amount, almost 12 times larger than the foreign debt. If this surplus amount is invested in earning interest, the amount of interest will be more than the annual budget of the Central government. So even if all the taxes are abolished, then also the Central government will be able to maintain the country very comfortably.

Some 80,000 people travel to Switzerland every year, of whom 25,000 travel very frequently. “Obviously, these people won’t be tourists. They must be travelling there for some other reason,” believes an official involved in tracking illegal money. And, clearly, he isn’t referring to the commerce ministry bureaucrats who’ve been flitting in and out of Geneva ever since the World Trade Organisation (WTO) negotiations went into a tailspin!

Just read the following details and note how these dishonest industrialists, scandalous politicians, corrupt officers, cricketers, film actors, illegal sex trade and protected wildlife operators, to name just a few, sucked this country’s wealth and prosperity. This may be the picture of deposits in Swiss banks only. What about other international banks?

Black money in Swiss banks -- Swiss Banking Association report, 2006 details bank deposits in the territory of Switzerland by nationals of following countries:

India---- $1456 billion
Russia---$ 470 billion
UK-------$390 billion
Ukraine- $100 billion
China-----$ 96 billion

Now do the maths - India with $1456 billion or $1.4 trillion has more money in Swiss banks than rest of the world combined. Public loot since 1947: Can we bring back our money? It is one of the biggest loots witnessed by mankind -- the loot of the Aam Aadmi (common man) since 1947, by his brethren occupying public office. It has been orchestrated by politicians, bureaucrats and some businessmen. The list is almost all-encompassing. No wonder, everyone in India loots with impunity and without any fear.

What is even more depressing in that this ill-gotten wealth of ours has been stashed away abroad into secret bank accounts located in some of the world’s best known tax havens. And to that extent the Indian economy has been stripped of its wealth. Ordinary Indians may not be exactly aware of how such secret accounts operate and what are the rules and regulations that go on to govern such tax havens. However, one may well be aware of ’Swiss bank accounts,’ the shorthand for murky dealings, secrecy and of course pilferage from developing countries into rich developed ones.

In fact, some finance experts and economists believe tax havens to be a conspiracy of the western world against the poor countries. By allowing the proliferation of tax havens in the twentieth century, the western world explicitly encourages the movement of scarce capital from the developing countries to the rich.

In March 2005, the Tax Justice Network (TJN) published a research finding demonstrating that $11.5 trillion of personal wealth was held offshore by rich individuals across the globe. The findings estimated that a large proportion of this wealth was managed from some 70 tax havens.

Further, augmenting these studies of TJN, Raymond Baker -- in his widely celebrated book titled ’Capitalism’s Achilles Heel: Dirty Money and How to Renew the Free Market System’ -- estimates that at least $5 trillion have been shifted out of poorer countries to the West since the mid-1970. It is further estimated by experts that one per cent of the world’s population holds more than 57 per cent of total global wealth, routing it invariably through these tax havens. How much of this is from India is anybody’s guess.

What is to be noted here is that most of the wealth of Indians parked in these tax havens is illegitimate money acquired through corrupt means. Naturally, the secrecy associated with the bank accounts in such places is central to the issue, not their low tax rates as the term ’tax havens’ suggests. Remember Bofors and how India could not trace the ultimate beneficiary of those transactions because of the secrecy associated with these bank accounts? IS THERE ANY ONE WHO WOULD SAVE INDIA ?God... No No No, even he can’t..........!!

Section 49-O of the Constitution

Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section "49-O" that a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn't want to vote anyone!

Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called "49-O".

Why should you go and say "I VOTE NOBODY"... because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that particular ward has received
"49-O" votes more than 123, then that polling will be cancelled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their decision on them. This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way, of our whole political system... it is seemingly surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a feature to the public....

Please spread this news to as many as you know...Seems to be a wonderful weapon against corrupt parties in India... show your power,expressing your desire not to vote for anybody, is even more powerful than voting... so don't miss your chance. So either vote, or vote not to vote (vote 49-O) and pass this info on...

Terrorism and Pakistan

Hi friends,

Why are you shying away from speaking your mind? Both India and
Pakistan specialize in the development and export of IT. The slight
difference is in case of India IT means Information Technology and
in case of Pakistan it means Islamic Terrorism!

I don't really understand how we can blame the politicians in a
democracy. They haven't come to power through a military coup. If
they lack the political resolve to fight terrorism to the finish, it
bespeaks a collective timidity of the entire Indian nation. It's
become a cliché to say that we get the politicians we deserve. In
India, what's happened is a weak people with a low self-esteem—
thanks to years and years of subjugation--have been given a chance
through democratic means to choose their leaders. Naturally all they
throw up is lily-livered people like the present-day Home Minister
Shivraj Patil. This apology of a Home Minister had had this to say
in his response to the latest terrorist strikes in Mumbai: "The
terrorists had left by the time I reached the venue of the
attack"!!! On the occasion of a previous terrorist attack, it seemed
he was more worried about his sartorial elegance, having had the
time to change his dress thrice in the course of a few hours after
he learnt of the bomb blasts!

The hard truth is: Life comes cheap in India. The sheer casualness
with which we've begun to greet the news of bomb blasts and
terrorist strikes shows our senses have been totally benumbed.
There's rarely a sense of outrage. Already, we have "funny" SMSs
circulating through our Mobile phones telling us rooms in The Taj in
Mumbai are going really cheap; book one for yourself immediately!.
That's how small-minded and sickening some people have become when
it comes to loss of life in India. News of 125 of our countrymen
slain in a terrorist attack does not shock us any more than Sachin
Tendulkar getting out at 99.

This is in sharp contrast to how the West treats any attack on its
soil. The US bombed two countries back to the stone age, just
because the people responsible for 9/11 attack were SUSPECTED to be
hiding there or have had their support bases there. And the US
hasn't had a single major terrorist attack since then. What has
India done? Squat. It has incontrovertible evidence that the ISI of
Pakistan was behind the Kabul Embassy attack; the Kandahar hijackers
drove straight to Pakistan after that drama ended. The current
attacks in Mumbai in all probability have been orchestrated at the
behest of Pakistan. If evidence is all that is required to put it
down to Pakistan, I can provide some too! In the 80s, I personally
knew people who took terrorist training in Pakistan. And I think the
fact the ISI chief is flying down to Mumbai is evidence enough that
Pakistan has something to do with these attacks? If the Pakis have
got nothing to do with this mayhem, what really is the ISI chief
coming to India for? Chor ki Daadi mein Tinka!

Are we scared of Pakistan? There was a huge deployment of the Army
at the borders after the Parliament attack on December 13, 2001. Why
did India suddenly chicken out? What's the use of having nuclear
weapons if you do not have guts to use them when the occasion
arises? The fact of the matter is: India does not have the cojones
like the US has. We were too worried about the toll a war with
Pakistan would take on our fledgling economy. India hasn't yet
learnt to behave like a nation-state. Nation-states are run by
Intelligence and Ruthlessness. Intelligence is the ability to see
things as they really are. Ruthlessness is not just threatening to
do but actually doing a Hiroshima-Nagasaki with the utter conviction
that God is on your side. India has the intelligence but does not
have the ruthlessness; Pakistan has the ruthlessness but does not
have the intelligence; the US has both.

Let this be understood once and for all: Terrorism will not
disappear until you dismantle the banana republic of Pakistan. The
problem with India is we continue to treat Pakistan as a nation.
Pakistan isn't a nation; it's an Army holding 150 million people to
ransom. It was created as a separate homeland for the Muslims of
India. Pakistan literally means "Pure Land". So India by implication
is impure. M A Zinnah stoked the Muslim fears that after the British
left, the numerically-superior Hindus would lord it over the Muslims
and the latter would forever be beholden to the former in an
independent India. The Two-nation theory came crashing down after
the creation of Bangladesh. If Islam was the glue holding Pakistan
together, why couldn't they prevent a further vivisection of their
country? Muslims seceding from Muslims?! And already we have
Baluchistan and FATA regions clamouring for freedom from Pakistan.
Clearly there's much more to our identities than just religion.
Gandhi foresaw it; the Paki Qaid-E-Azam couldn't.

Actually, and predictably, Pakistan has been hoisted on its own
petard. Benazir Bhutto who threatened to wage a 1000-year old war on
India and vowed to turn Mr Jagmohan (Governor of J & K in 1990)
into "Bhag-Mohan" (Run away Mohan) lies buried six feet under earth
in her home town in Larkana, eaten up the monster she herself
created to unleash terror in India.

Pakistan is a tragedy. Pakistan is a joke. It should never have been
created in the first place. It has to be brought down in a sort of
controlled demolition. Religion has brought Pakistan into existence.
Religion will finally prove to be its nemesis. When you let your
religious injunctions dictate your state policies, you
institutionalize irrationalism. And that's what Pakistan is:
Institutionalized Irrationalism. India too could have been a Hindu
state, but it chose not to and wisely so. Nepal was a Hindu rashtra,
the Nepalese literally worshiping their King as the Vishu-incarnate
till less than a decade ago. Then one fine day, a progeny of the
Vishu-incarnate picked up an AK-47 and gunned down his entire family
before turning the gun on himself, because his family objected to
his dating an Indian girl on grounds that she was a couple of years
older than him! The myth of Vishnu-incarnation blew in the Nepalese'
face. But it's amazing how fast they learnt their lesson and
switched over to a secular constitution completely abolishing
monarchy.

If Nepal despite being 99% Hindu can do it, why can't the Pakis?

Pakistan is the very antithesis of what India is. So it must stand
up to India. A happy and prosperous India with a happy and
prosperous Muslim population challenges the very idea of Pakistan.
Each proud and happy Indian Muslim is a slap in the face of
Pakistan. It doesn't seem that the Pakis could be so stupid not to
see this, but theirs is a classic case of being caught between the
rock and the hard place. If they switch over to a secular
constitution now, their raison d'etre will go out of existence. Why
did they secede from India in the first place if they were
ultimately to go secular? And if they continue to cling on to
Religion like they've done for the past 61 years, it's just a matter
of time before the piece of land they're illegally occupying withers
away and India steps in to reclaim its lost territory.

It's very, very important to understand and see Pakistan for what it
really is if we want to win the battle with terrorism. A nuclear war
with Pakistan is totally ruled out. India has pledged no first-use.
And Pakis wouldn't dare take out their nuclear arsenal. They know
they'd be wiped out of existence when India retaliates. So while not
banning their comedians from participating in our Comedy shows and
playing cricket matches with them, what India must at the same time
do is work by stealth and leave no stone unturned to balkanize
Pakistan and smash it up into little, ineffectual and warring pieces
of territory. The Research and Analysis Wing would be failing in its
duty if it lets go of the opportunity to hive Baluchistan off
Pakistan.

This story tells us something about LOVE & LIFE.

My husband is S/W Engineer by profession, I love him for his steady nature and I love the warm feeling when I lean against his broad shoulders.

Two years of courtship and now, five years into marriage, I would have to admit, that I am getting tired of it. The reasons of me loving him before, has now transformed into the cause of all my restlessness.

I am a sentimental woman and extremely sensitive when it comes to a relationship and my feelings. I yearn for the romantic moments, like a little girl yearning for candy. My husband is my complete opposite; his lack of sensitivity, and the inability of bringing romantic moments into our marriage has disheartened me about LOVE.

One day, I finally decided to tell him my decision, that I wanted a divorce.

"Why?" he asked, shocked.

"I am tired. There are no reasons for everything in the world!" I answered.

He kept silent the whole night, seemingly in deep thought. My feeling of disappointment only increased.

Here was a man who was not able to even express his predicament, so what else could I expect from him?

And finally he asked me: "What can I do to change your mind?"

Somebody said it right... It's hard to change a person's personality, and I guess, I have started losing faith in him.

Looking deep into his eyes I slowly answered: "Here is the question. If you can answer and convince my heart, I will change my mind.

Let's say, I want a flower located on the face of a mountain cliff, and we both are sure that picking the flower will cause your death. Will you do it for me?"

He said: "I will give you your answer tomorrow...." My hopes just sank by listening to his response.

I woke up the next morning to find him gone, and saw a piece of paper with his scratchy handwriting underneath a milk glass, on the dining table near the front door, that goes....

My dear, "I would not pick that flower for you, but....please allow me to explain the reasons further.....

This first line was already breaking my heart. I continued reading.

"When you use the computer you always mess up the Software programs, and you cry in front of the screen. I have to save my fingers so that I can help to restore the programs.

You always leave the house keys behind, thus I have to save my legs to rush home to open the door for you.

You love traveling but always lose your way in a new city . I have to save my eyes to show you the way.

You always have the cramps whenever your "good friend" approaches every month. I have to save my palms so that I can calm the cramps in your tummy.

You like to stay indoors, and I worry that you will be infected by infantile autism. I have to save my mouth to tell you jokes and stories to cure your boredom.

You always stare at the computer, and that will do nothing good for your eyes. I have to save my eyes so that when we grow old, I can help to clip your nails and help to remove those annoying white hairs. So I can also hold your hand while strolling down the beach, as you enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful sand...and tell you the colour of flowers, just like the colour of the glow on your young face...

Thus, my dear, unless I am sure that there is someone who loves you more than I do... I could not pick that flower yet, and die ... "

My tears fell on the letter, and blurred the ink of his handwriting. .. and as I continue on reading... "Now, that you have finished reading my answer, and if you are satisfied, please open the front door for I am standing outside bringing your favorite bread and fresh milk...

I rushed to pull open the door, and saw his anxious face, clutching tightly with his hands, the milk bottle and loaf of bread....Now I am very sure that no one will ever love me as much as he does, and I have decided to leave the flower alone...

That's LIFE, and LOVE. When one is surrounded by love, the feeling of excitement fades away, and one tends to ignore the true love that lies in between the peace and dullness.

Love shows up in all forms; even in very small and cheeky forms. It has never been a model. It could be the dullest and most boring form..

Flowers, and romantic moments are only used and appear on the surface of the relationship. Under all this, the pillar of true love stands...

Chandrayaan-1

Bangalore, Oct 29 (PTI) The fourth orbit-raising manoeuvre of Chandrayaan-1 was carried out today which took the lunar spacecraft closer to the moon, the Indian Space Research Organisation said here. During this operation at 0738 hours, the spacecraft's 440 Newton liquid engine was fired for about three minutes, the Bangalore-headquartered space agency said in a statement.

"With this, Chandrayaan-1 entered into a more elliptical orbit whose apogee (farthest point to earth) lies at 2,67,000 km while the perigee (nearest point to earth) lies at 465 km. Thus, Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft's present orbit extends more than half the way to the moon," ISRO said.

In this orbit, the spacecraft takes about six days to go round the earth once. The health of the spacecraft is being continuously monitored from the Spacecraft Control Centre at ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) here with support from Indian Deep Space Network antennas at Byalalu near here.

ISRO said all systems on board the spacecraft are performing normally. One more orbit raising manoeuvre is scheduled to send the spacecraft to the vicinity of the moon at a distance of about 3,84,000 km from the earth, it said.

SEVEN PER cent of Indians, or around 7 crore people, equals to A.P population suffer from mental disorder in one or the other form, but the healthcare facilities are woefully inadequate. Describing the situation as serious rights issue, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has taken up the matter with the Medical Council of India (MCI).

A report by National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore says around 2 crore people need treatment for "serious mental disorder". While 30-35 lakh of them need hospitalisation, the number of beds available for such patients is only 29,000.

"Morbidity on account of mental illness is set to overtake cardiovascular diseases as the single largest health risk in India by 2010," wrote National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) secretary general Akhil Kumar Jain, quoting the NIMHANS study in the preface of the medical institute's report - Mental Health Care And Human Rights. The report was released at a seminar organized to mark the NHRC foundation day on Sunday.

The NHRC has termed the treatment gap - where 50-90 per cent people are unable to access health services - as a "serious human rights issue". Calling for urgent steps to augment infrastructure, the NHRC said it has taken up the issue with the MCI and NIMHANS. The stigma attached to such a condition and the discrimination that it brings is also a matter of concern, the rights panel has said.

"In the modern age we are now living with increasing stress owing to various factors. In the times to come, the stresses and strains will be further accentuated, thereby making mental health a very significant issue," said Jain.

Going into the reasons for prevalence of mental disorders, NHRC chairperson Justice S. Rajendra Babu said, "The changing economic world order with the impact of globalisation, peer pressure, professional tensions, diminishing family values or institutions are resulting in tremendous mental stress or disorders over a period of time". Expressing worry at the "huge gap in manpower", the NHRC said "psychiatrists are mostly concentrated in urban areas and that, too, in four or five metros.

In the rural areas, the situation is a cause for serious concern. Same holds true for clinical psychologists, psychiatric nurses and community social worker working in these areas".

నేను నా మిత్రులు ఒకసారి మద్రాసుకు వెళ్ళిన కొత్తలో మా కాలేజీ దగ్గర వున్నా ఒక చిన్న హోటల్ కి వెళ్ళాము...ఇందులో ఒక మా స్నేహితుడుకు తమిళం వచ్చు ఎందుకంటే వాడు స్కూల్ చదువు అంట ఇక్కడే వేలేగాబెట్టాడు...సరే అని మేము హోటల్ లో ఎమున్నయ్యి అని అడిగాము...హోటల్ వాడు పూరి,చపాతీ,దోస,బారత అన్నాడు , ఈ బారత అంటి ర అని మా అరవం తెలిసిన ఫ్రెండ్ ని అడిగితే వాడు ఇది తమిల్నది స్పెషల్ మామ అన్నాడు...సరే అని మేము అందరమూ దాని రుచేంటో చూద్దామని ఆ బరతనే చెప్పాము....తీర వాడు తెచ్చాక చుస్తే అది పరాట...అది చూసాక మా ఫ్రెండ్ ని 'ఇందేంటి పరాట ఇచ్చాడు అంటే' వాడు ఇదే మామ బారత అన్నాడు...అప్పుడు తెలిసింది మాకు ఈ ఆరవ వెదవలకు 'ప' అన్నా 'బ' అన్నా ఒకటే అని.....

India is all set to reach the moon and that too in its own way, literally! The first Moon mission, an unmanned remote-sensing satellite called Chandrayaan-I , is set for launch. The results of this initiative is which would a long way in realizing the value of our closest celestial body and the emergence of new possibilities. Few facts on Chandrayaan * This spacecraft weighs 1304 kg (590 initial orbit mass and 504 kg dry mass) * The estimated costs for this ambitious project would be INR 3.8 billion * The power generation would be through a canted single-sided solar array to provide required power, 700 W at peak. * During eclipse the spacecraft will be powered by Lithium ion (Li-Ion) batteries. * The spacecraft carries propellant for a mission life of 2 years. The mission aims to carry out high resolution mapping of topographic features in 3D, distribution of minerals and elemental chemical species, and look for water ice in its polar regions. ISRO hopes to launch Chandrayaan-1 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre near Shriharikota this year.(AP Photo)

ప్రస్తుత మన దేశ రాజకీయాలు చుస్తే వ్యాపారమే గుర్తుకు వస్తోంది..మన రాజకీయ నాయకులు ముఖ్యంగా మూడిటి కోసం రాజకీయాల్లోకి వచ్చారు అని అనిపిస్తోంది నాకు...ఒకటి డబ్బు ,రెండు పదవి, సేవ(అని వాళ్లు చెబుతుంటారు)...ఇప్పుడు మన మాజీ ముఖ్య మంత్రి చంద్రబాబు గారిని తీసుకుంటే ఆయనకు రాజకీయ ప్రవేశం ముందు రెండు ఎకరాల ఆస్తి వుండేది కానీ ఇప్పుడు ఆయన ఆస్తిపాస్తులు ఏంటో అందరికి తెలిసిందే....మన ప్రస్తుత ముఖ్యమంత్రి రాజశేఖరా రెడ్డి గారు రాజకీయ ప్రవేశం ముందునుండే మంచి శ్రీమంతుడు కాబట్టి నేను అనుకుంటుంది ఏమిటి అంటే వారు వచ్చింది పవర్ కోసం అని...మరి ఇప్పుడు కొట్టగా వచ్చిన చిరంజీవి వచ్చింది దేనొక నాకు ఇంక బోడపడటం లేదు...అంటే డబ్బు కోసం అంటే నేను ఒప్పుకోను ఎందుకంటే అతని దగ్గర చాల డబ్బు వుండి అనేది అందరికి తెలిసిందే...కాబట్టి ఆటను ఇప్పుడు పవర్ కోసం వచ్చారా లేక సేవ చెయ్యడానికి వచ్చారా!! అనేది నాకు బోడపదతెం లేదు...మీలో ఎవ్వరికయినా తెలిస్తే నాకు చెప్పండి.....
